Janora Hills Hotel - Kandy

Outstandingly accommodating staff. Everything was brand-new. - Decent location in a quiet area. - the hotel was just next door to the city center and many main attractions, such as the lake, Tooth Relic Temple, and the city centre. - Sri Dalada Museum was just outside the door.

Fairly clean hotel, nicely furnished room, really kind staff. A good choice of cheap options for meal. Units with view🙂👌

The location was perfect and exceptionally nice, an easy walk to National Museum of Kandy. It was 5 mins drive to the airport. Very efficient service from all the extremely friendly staff that I interacted with.

My wife and I had a wonderful holiday at Janora Hills! From the moment we checked in, the owner made us feel special and the staff was friendly and professional. The room was clean and the bed incredibly comfortable. The free coffee and tea in the beautiful dining area added a homely touch. We were even treated to delicious meals with the owner, creating lasting memories. our stay was the best we've had and we highly recommend this peaceful haven to everyone!

The location of this place is very convenient, as it is right next to the main attractions and a short drive to the lake.

Conveniently, only 5 km from the airport. the staff here is super friendly and always ready to assist you with a smile 😊.

The room was spacious and clean, with a great view from the balcony. the bed was really comfortable, providing a good night's sleep after exploring the city. the location was convenient, with many restaurants and attractions within walking distance.

The cleanliness of the bathroom was not up to par. There were dirty towels left behind and the shower rack had soap and hair on it.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the value for money was outstanding. I couldn't believe the quality of the rooms and the attention to detail at such affordable prices. The location of the hotel, nestled on a hill with a beautiful view, was simply breathtaking. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a balcony with a bit of Kandy Lake view. Additionally, the staff provided excellent service and made us feel special from start to finish. Finally, the breakfast served on the upper balcony with great views was the perfect way to start the day.

No negatives, everything was exceptional.

Loved the helpful staff who gave me amazing tips. Also, the hotel is conveniently located near all the attractions. Great facilities and free wifi, though I rarely had to use it.

How thrilling it was to experience construction noise, slow internet, and no fridge. Oh, and the joy of no hot water on one fine day.

Our hotel was situated in a desirable area, a short distance from Kandy's center, but still quiet. We also enjoyed its proximity to the lake, and visiting the local shops and restaurants. Our room was spacious and included a large, well-functioning bathroom with an excellent shower. the staff members were quite helpful and accommodating, and the breakfast was satisfying.

I had a great stay at this hotel! Its location was perfect, right by the fine lake in the heart of the city and just a short walk from all the shops and restaurants. The staff were helpful , and the breakfast on the upper balcony was a real highlight. Not to mention the room, beautifully furnished, clean and equipped with everything I needed. All in all, a great experience.

Spent Xmas at this modern hotel, close to the beautiful lake and main attractions. Room was spacious and well-furnished, with a stunning view of the temple on the opposite side. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, offering us a delicious breakfast on the upper balcony with breathtaking views. We also appreciated the cheap tuktuk rides and convenient, stair-less access.

It was slightly disappointing that the restaurant was unfinished, with some minor touches still needed. this was a small issue compared to the overall experience and all the other facilities offered.

Had a good shower, clean room, and was easy to walk to some cool spots nearby. appreciated the friendly staff who helped me with a few things during my stay.

The bugs in my room made it hard to get any rest. The noise outside was a bit much, but I guess that comes with being in a downtown area.
